Bought a firearm online or from out of state? We make the transfer process simple. We accept transfers on all Maryland-legal firearms regardless of whether we stock it.

How to request a transfer — email ffl@blackanchorarmory.com with:


• Dealer name, phone, and email

• Manufacturer and model

• Invoice number (if applicable)

• Your name and phone number

Once approved we'll send the seller our FFL. They ship it, we process it, we call you for pickup.

• Long guns: Valid MD photo ID + Federal Form 4473

• Handguns: Valid MD photo ID + HQL license + Form 4473 + MDSP 77R Application and PIN Numbers

Transfers held 45 days. Outbound transfers: $52 first firearm, $26 each additional plus shipping.

Optics & Sights
• Pistol sight/optics install — $30 (free with sights purchased from BAA)

• Rifle iron sights install — $25

• Red dot install — $25

• Scope install — $35

Parts & Upgrades
• Sig and Glock OEM parts — $30/half hour

• AR-15 furniture upgrade/swap — $30/half hour

• Drop-in trigger jobs — $30/half hour

Cleaning
• Basic cleaning — $35 (30 min or less)

• In-depth cleaning — $75 (30+ min)

Diagnostics & Repair
• Function check — $30/half hour

• Malfunction diagnosis — $25/half hour

• Reassembly — $35/half hour (customer provides all parts)

AR Builds
• Lower receiver assembly — $60

• Complete AR build — $150

• Upper/barrel swap — $100

• Custom BAA rifle build — $250

HOW IT WORKS

• 50% down at the time of purchase locks in your item and price

• Balance due within 45 days — no extensions

• Available on items $400.00 or more (you can combine items to reach the minimum)

• Auction items eligible at the Buy It Now price only

• Payment by credit card or cash only — no money orders or checks

GOOD TO KNOW BEFORE YOU START


• Your layaway locks in the current price. If the price goes up later, you're protected. If it goes down or a promotion runs after your order is placed, the original price applies.

• It's your responsibility to make your final payment on time. We won't send reminders, so please mark your calendar.

• Orders will not ship or transfer until the balance is paid in full.

• We reserve the right to decline layaway on certain items.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Life happens — we get it. If you need to cancel, please do so as early as possible. Cancelled layaways are subject to a 50% cancellation fee of the original item price. Initial deposits are non-refundable. Layaways not paid by day 45 are automatically cancelled.
